Recent Attachments

Ok, I'm finished with this module. Has been updated to version 1.2 by REQUEST!

All features include...

4 Icons to choose from, and the Default being Sweet.png
Maximum Quantity limit of attachments
Ability to set the file extensions to show for all attachments
Can display images as thumbnails or in FULL size, this is now INDEPENDANT from SMF settings
If images are enabled to show, you can enable clicking on images to open up the image in a New Window via Enabling of Image Links
Board Only Attachments feature allows you to select a SINGLE BOARD where you would like to grab the attachments from, instead of grabbing ALL attachments, if you want
7 different Display Options to choose from and they can be ordered any way you want. These options include displaying of the following: Images, Membername that uploaded the attachment (links to profile), post name and link where the attachment was uploaded, Filename Link, Filesize, Quantity of Downloads, and the Time the Attachment was uploaded.

You basically decide what and where you want the information for the attachments to display at within the module.

Well, enjoy! Images attached of the Admin and the Front-End of the Module.

UPDATE Version 1.3

Yet another update for this mod to include the ability for topic SPECIFIC Attachments. So now there is the ability for the following...

1. All Recent Attachments
2. Board Specific Recent Attachments
3. Topic Specific Recent Attachments (based on topic id value)

Sorry, didn't implement the horizontal display yet... perhaps at another time. Though, honestly, this module has already taken up too much of my extremely valuable time.

Ofcourse, few lang string have been changed, removed and added.

Cheers, I forgot about this...

Will fix and re-upload.

Bytheway... this:

That is not hard-coded, it is a string that can be added that links to Dream Portal's actual error string for this.

Will change the others though and re-upload.

Ah, didn't know that text can be linked that way. Anyways, I plan to translate all the modules available to Dutch. With this module, I'll wait till you add the display options

Gotta Run, but have updated this to 1.1. Attached the package for those who want it. No time to explain, will explain everything later.

It's in the 1st post. Images are now available to be viewed... and much more.

Ok, final update, I think, for this module. Recent Attachments now at version 1.2! This removes the link to SSI.php and adds in a ton of new features and options. You can NOW specify a board to grab the attachments from also, in case you have a board setup for this.

You'll need to be more specific on what you mean by "last pictures", last pictures of what exactly? This Module shows the last recent attachments. If you want pictures, than just like the screenshot shows for the Admin of this, you just need to put all file extensions of the pictures that you want to be shown in there...

For Picture attachments, you'll just place this in the Extensions to show setting:

jpg,jpeg,gif,png,bmp

For any file extensions, you should place the extension in there separated by a comma and it will show the most recently added picture attachment at the VERY TOP. You control how many you want to show with the Attachments Limit setting. So if you only want to show just the most recently added picture (so just 1 attachment), than place a 1 in there and it will only show 1 (The most recently attached picture).

As far as having the attachments display horizontally, I didn't code for this, so, currently, this is NOT possible. I'll see what I can do with it tonight to add this feature in it. Will hopefully have something for you tonight on this.

Updated to version 1.3 which just adds in the ability for Topic only Recent Attachments. Haven't added in the horizontal display feature, but honestly this isn't that hard to change yourself within the script.php file.
