Dream Portal
is searching for developers

Introduction:
DP (Dream Portal) is an portal software for SMF (Simple Machines Forums). We are an open source project that which has undertaken a massive team change. Our portal is an AJAX driven portal, which has some jQuery features.

What we are looking for:
The DP team needs an developer, who codes with passion, and likes to socialise with the other team members. We are having an stable version of our software which is 1.0.5, but are having huge plans for our next release 1.1. The person we are looking for will help us to squash the known bugs, and add new features to our portal.

I'm interested, since I'm having more time to help. :) I know Jquery, Ajax, Javascript, PHP etc. Fixing bugs isn't a problem for me and implenting features isn't a problem too. :)

This is so exciting! Whenever i see developers getting active in the SMF community (let's face it, that's a bit rare nowadays) i get interested and want to help.
But unfortunately, i'm not much into coding. But i can help to beta test and feedback and can also provide hosting of dev files, if necessary.
Either way, keep up the great spirit, willemjan and all other collaborating minds.

P.S. There are a lot of security measures before i could register or even make this first post! Phew! :D

The best way to break yourself in is try and make a few modules. perhaps a jQuery powered content slider.

Or an Ad manger module, where it shows an Ad an X amount of times, then reverts to default.

Thank you for your interest, but I think it is indeed better to start with some modules. Get used to the system, before you actually touch the source code.
